1997, the ship management and operating experience leads to TERSAN establishment at the shipyards region of Istanbul/TURKEY.--2001, Rapid developing of the capabilities and the conditions at the TERSAN, leads to new building sector and so new building activities started at the same region by TERSAN New Building Department.--January 2008, due to present market changes decided to own vessels besides building.--Friday 2nd of October 2009, a day to remember for TERSAN. This was the day when we truly established the fact that our Company was here to stay for many years to come. On this day, Dow Chemical Company - one of the world largest chemical producers - and TERSAN reached an agreement for transportation of Propylene Oxide (PO) at Dows new plant in MapThaPut, Thailand, for a period of up to 15 years, starting in 2011. The transportation commitment will fully utilize two vessels, and a third will be placed as backup, hence Tersan established a definite presence in the region.--October 2009, in light of good developments and long term agreements decided to establish own management Company.--December 2009, ATLAS TANKER ISLETMECILIGI VE TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI was established by TERSAN owners to manage TERSAN vessels.--10th January 2010, first vessel BASAT was taken into management.--28th May 2010, totally seven vessels, all build by and belongs to TERSAN were taken into management.--03rd March 2011, Company name ATLAS TANKER ISLETMECILIGI VE TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI has been changed as TERSAN DENIZ ISLETMECILIGI VE TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI, as it has to be.--Our Vision----Our vision is to manage sea transport of the high value liquid of chemicals, aromatics, acids, oils and oil products with "SAFEST MANAGEMENT IN GOLD STANDARD"--Our Mission--We will earn this position by providing modern, high quality, and environmentally responsible vessels to our customers.--We will add value to these vessels by providing our innovative, reliable and proactive management services through our commitment to safe, healthy and environmentally responsible ship operations, supported with high quality sea and office staff and management strategy.
