BSM Crew Service Center, Kolkata is a branch office of CSC India and is responsible for supplying manpower from Eastern India, mainly from the states of Bengal, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Andaman & Nicobar & North Eastern states for ships managed by Service Delivery Centers of BSM. While BSM has SDCs in 8 locations, this organization is mainly supplying manpower to SDC in China, Hong- Kong, Singapore and India. CSC Kolkata commenced operations from 14th August 2007. The staff of CSC Kolkata is quite young and energetic and with plenty experience in the shipping industry, especially manning. With the assistance by team members of other branch offices and BSM Mumbai who are highly experienced, CSC Kolkata has been able to deliver first class service to the SDCs of BSM. In the first year of inception the office assisted CSC India to cross the mark of 2,000 seafarers on board and to become one of the leading manning companies in India. The company has constantly improved on its performance year after year. The faith and trust shown in us by the maritime community of this region has allowed us to have a retention rate of more than 85 percent. Each ship is manned with proficient, qualified, certificated and medically fit seafarers in accordance with the national and international requirements.
