The company MARSIG was founded by developers, scientists as well as seafarers of the Institute for Safety Technology and Traffic Science in Rostock-Warnemünde.--The spin-off enabled the company to put more than 20 years of experience in engineering and research into products and commercial services.--Our current goals are to offer customer oriented services for systems, software and consulting services on the field of maritime engineering, safety, security and beyond.--The hard day to day work of our staff of experienced captains, officers, scientists, developers, as well as graduates of the University of Rostock are a sound foundation to realise these goals.--The company is owned by Dr.-Eng. Dirk Dreissig and Grad.-Eng. Stefan Hein.
