Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (India) Private Ltd. is responsible for supplying manpower from India for ships managed by Service Delivery Centers of BSM. While BSM has SDCs in 8 locations, this organization is mainly supplying manpower to SDC in China, Hong- Kong, Singapore and India. Manning operations started in India in 1992. Today the organization has manning offices in Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Patna and Kochi. The staff of the organization is fairly balanced with a good mix of master mariners, chief engineers and radio officers with many years of experience in the shipping industry. They are assisted by team members who are highly experienced & motivated to deliver first class service to the SDCs of BSM. In 2008, the organization crossed the mark of 2,000 seafarers on board to become one of the leading manning companies in India. BSM CSC India provides opportunities for seafarers to serve on various kinds of vessels including Container ships ranging from 2,500 TEU to 13,000 TEU, Bulk carriers ranging from Handy size to Capesize, VLOCs, Tankers including gas carriers, product carriers, Crude carriers like ULCCs, VLCCs and Aframaxes, Car carriers, Transhippers and self unloaders.
