In 1997 the company name was changed to ALTINTAS SHIPPING AGENCY LTD.. Company was involved in tramp shipping business. The main services are Ship Management, Ship Chartering, Ship Agency Services and Cargo Surveyor.--As a ship agent, we give service in Bandirma Port, Marmara Island Saraylar Port, Canakkale Dardanelle Strait, Istanbul Bosphorus Strait and all Turkish ports. Big amount of block marble shipments from Marmara Island to Syria is controlled by our company. We handle about 450,000 tons of block marble annually.
