– candidates should be appropriate certified (STCW 2010)
– have adequate experience as 2/E on ocean going vsls with same ME
– be less than 45 years old with good English knowledge

Tanggung jawab / Responsibilities :
– Assisting the Chief Engineer in the proper operation, maintenance and repair of vessel machinery.
– Performing his watch duties according to the SMS and the Chief Engineer’s instructions.
– Training the recruited Engine Room personnel according to the Chief Engineer’s instructions.
– Responsible for the training of the Engine Cadets as Engineer.
– Maintaining the good operating condition and the cleanliness of the Engine Room.
– Keeping records of maintenance and repair works.
– Ensuring the proper use and handling o spare parts and materials.
– Ensuring the adherence to safety and pollution prevention practices by all Engine Room personnel and repair teams.
