Alstership was established in 1992 and is a family owned company. We act as the exclusive chartering broker for a fleet of coaster vessels which are employed in the European trade carrying mainly bulk and break-bulk cargoes such as rapeseedmeal, woodpulp, fertilisers, grain, steel, salt, clay and scrap.--Our fleet consists of boxshaped singledeckers in the size between 3500 and 5000 mtons which are strengthened for heavy cargoes and are able to separate different grades of cargo into 3 compartments, if required. All of them are flying EU flag and thus suited for cabotage.--The concept of having several sister-vessels equips us with the flexibility that enables us to provide a reliable performance at competitive rates - always going the extra seamile.--Whether big or small, we welcome new business opportunities whilst we enjoy and maintain numerous long-standing relationships.
