The Company Rolf-D. Candler Schiffahrt GmbH was founded in 1985 by Mr. Rolf-Dieter Candler. After his death in 1995, Captain Frank H. Wadephul and Mr. Manfred Heinrichs took over this company as managing directors and the company was re-named into CANDLER SCHIFFAHRT GMBH.----The office is located in Bremen, Germany, and presently has a staff of about 10 employees. The main activities are technical and commercial ship-management, world- wide chartering, operations and agency on all River-Weser ports.----In addition to the vessels under own management, we also operate several dry-cargo multi-purpose vessels and bulkcarriers geared or gearless, either on basis long-term timecharter or also for short periods or one trip/voyage only.----The fleet of Candler Schiffahrt GmbH is trading world-wide with different kind of commodities including considerable amounts of bauxite from NCSA to various destinations in Europe.
