CHRONOS SHIPPING Co.Ltd is a ship Management company incorporated in 1972 with its Head Office in Piraeus in Greece. --The Company is certified by the American Bureon of shipping in accordance with the ISM code, to operate:--Bulk Carriers--Oil Tankers--Chronos Shipping Fleet:--Specializing in the Asphalt carriage--The Company has ,for the last 30 or so years, been specializing in the Asphalt carriage worldwide.----The Company currently manages a modern fleet, comprising 2 double hull 45,000 DWT Asphalt/Oil tankers and a "Panamax" - size bulk carrier.----With the Company's commitment to safety, environmentally responsible operations , high quality services and training of its staff,we aim to maintain a leading role as an international Ship Manager and Ship Operator.--SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM--CHRONOS promotes the concept of safety and environmnetal excellence at all levels in the organisation through a disciplined, documented SMS.----Over the last 3 years we have focused on upgrading our SMS in order to ensure continuous improvement in SMS management processes. This effort , which is ongoing, has brought a new culture and new challenges throughout our COMPANY, which is encouraged and fully supported by the Senior Management ashore and on board and has led to a significant improvement in the Company's standing in the TMSA (Tanker Management Self Assessment) rating bench marks. --Our SMS complies with the ISM code, the ISPS Code,ISO 9001,ISO 14001 and incorporates the basic OHSAS 18001 requirements. --ISM Code Certification is provided by ABS (Company's DOC).
