Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (Deutschland) GmbH & Co. KG (BSM) was entrusted with the Ship- and Crew-Management of RDO’s 5000 TEU wide-beam newbuildings RDO Favour and RDO Fortune.----The ships will be delivered by Builder Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co. Ltd., Mokpo on 22nd Oct respectively 05th Nov 2012 and will join BSM management directly ex Yard. During a signing ceremony held at Bremen on 02nd Oct 2012, the ship- and crew-management contracts were signed by Mr. Andre Delau - Director Marine Operations and Mrs Katrin Trommler - Financial Manager for BSM and RDO Managing Partner Mr. Bernd Rogge on behalf of Owners. The contracts mark the successful resumption of a cooperation of the companies dating back to 2001.--Newbuilding RDO Favour (S589) is ready to launch..--D. Oltmann ordered two 5,000 TEU containerships from Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.. The containerships will measure 256m in length, 37.4m in width and 22.1m in depth with a service speed of 21.9 knots.
