Marine Trust was established in the 1990s; its core having been part of a private shipping business with dry-cargo and tanker experience since the early 1970s. The company has grown and improved in quality over the years and is currently active in the large oil tanker and dry bulk markets.--Throughout the years the company has managed more than 100 vessels of various types and sizes, and has been responsible for the construction of over 25 vessels at leading yards in Korea, Japan and China. Marine Trust is committed to covering all aspects of safe shipboard operations and to meet or exceed the requirements of ISO9001 (quality), ISO14001 (environmental management), OCIMF TMSA guidelines (tanker management), as well as the mandatory requirements of the ISM code (safety management), ISPS code (security) and MLC (manning). Over the past 12 years the vessels have transported uneventfully over 300 million tons of cargo, and have made over 9,000 safe port calls.
