Seafarers training centre (STC)

Seafarers training centre (STC) provides training of sea-going personnel according to requirements of International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW 78/95) , as well as training and upgrading of ratings. The number of training courses which are offered by the Centre totals 51. All kinds of training meet the requirements of national and international standards and are approved by the Inspectorate for Training and Certification of Seafarers of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine, which is confirmed by relevant certificates of recognition. Vocational training is licensed by the Ministry of Education and Sciences of Ukraine. The format of the documents issued by the Centre is in full conformity with the national and international requirements. The Quality Management System, implemented with the Centre, is certified by the Ukrainian Registry of Shipping as complying with ISO 9001-2008 International Standards.----At present The Seafarers Training Centre is a unique technically equipped center in the region which can provide up-to-date, high quality training of seafarers in compliance with national, STCW Convention and other international documents requirements.
